I’ve been on cruise control with Cafe Bikes For Sale but with a few popping up on our sister site recently, and more emails about the archives coming in recently, we’re getting back in the saddle. I’ve been focusing on other projects but I really want this website to do well. Thanks for sticking with us!
To get us back in the swing of things with a proper 2nd kick, we’re starting things off with this very special one off Norton Vincent combination:
From the seller:
Everything new or rebuilt. Well sorted, about 5300 miles since completion in 2004. Wideline featherbed frame, 1950 Vincent Rapide motor and transmission. All sheet metal was made for the bike, including alloy fuel and oil tanks. Motor has all new bearings, two front heads, Terry Prince crank and rods, new lo-ex pistons, valves and springs, cam followers, pushrods, etc; primary drive entirely new with Suzuki 750/850 clutch. Sparks provided by a Kubota alternator powering a gel-cell battery and coil twin point ignition. Norton Roadholder forks with a Yamaha TD road racing 4 leading shoe front brake; Black Shadow rear wheel with both brakes. Too much to list it all here! All receipts, records, wiring diagrams, tuning notes go with bike. Some spares. Clear title. Full details and many photos supplied on request. $42,500 obo. E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
I’ve actually seen this bike in person several times and it’s nothing short of spectacular. We both live in the same area and have run into each other at the local bike shows and coffee meetups.
From here I’ll let the pictures do the talking:
Good luck with the sale David!
