I’ll start by saying a bit more info is needed from the seller. I don’t believe it’s a Dunstall bike but rather outfitted with Dunstall pieces. He’s clear the tank is a fiberglass Dunstall piece and that he’ll post the engine numbers for Dunstall fans at a later point which suggests it may have the 850 engine kit. What I do know is that it looks like it would be a blast as is or a really solid foundation for a custom build and restoration!
quote from seller’s listing:
Dual Disc Norton 750 with fiberglass Dunstall tank, original Dual disc front end, smith’s gauges and Borrani rims…I will get the engine numbers etc for you dunstall fans during the week. Runs great, needs seals in dual disc…I will call the guy in colorado that sells the parts. One of the header rings is stripped(arent they all) and I can send it to the NJ guy if you want me too. Ride as it is or restore away.
You can read more about Paul Dunstall on Classic SportBikes For Sale in a previous post on our sister site.
The seller I believe is the owner of Factory Five and Smyth Performance. I’ve always been a fan of the Factory Five Cobra’s and I’ve also been following the progress of his TDi based sports car kit. And as you can see in the pictures, he’s also got a Ferrari 365 GTC/4 for sale as well.

I purchased this bike. It carries many, many Dunstall components. Story goes that the frame was a recipient of all dunstall components from an english donor. Am planning on restoring it and keeping it for a while- many are advertized as dunstalls but this one is the closest I have seen out there- note front brakes…
Congrats on the purchase Erwin! Keep us posted on your progress and thanks for your note.

My name is Tim i live in FL have been in the market for an early 70′S cafe style project bike, have not been able to find a running decent bike that people are asking the right price for where is a good place to look for a brit, or jap project bike in the 650-1000cc range that is a good starting project for under 3,000?
Personally, I set up a search on my local Craigslist for bikes that might be of interest and then subscribe to the .RSS feed so I can be on top of the market as quickly as possible. Cafe’s are hot right now and well priced projects go quickly.
Good luck!
